Changing Clutch & Brake Fluids
I'd like to change the Clutch and Brake fluids myself. I've read the procedures in the service manual, everythings seems pretty straight forward. Are there any special tools that I will need? Does anyone have any tips that aren't listed in the manual. Thttp://www.gl1800riders.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=114014
RE: T56...appropriate fluids...socal rebuilders???
I'll jump on and say +1 for the Pennzoil Synchromesh, too. I tried lots of different fluids in my old T56, including Dexron III, +4, Mobil 1 ATF, Mobil 1 5W30, etc. Synchromesh worked the best, by far.http://corner-carvers.com/forums/showthread.php?s=40b7599f030599fe8f8e1d136470c27f&t=36068
